TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) —According to the Terre Haute Tribune Star, Kmart officials will know before April 24 the exact number of employees that will be laid off from its Terre Haute location, as it transitions from a Super Kmart to a Big Kmart.

Last month, company officials announced the store would be downsized, removing the grocery section to cut costs. The store employs roughly 141 people.

The store, on U.S. 41 South in Terre Haute, would cut its hours from 24-hours-a-day to a schedule of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
